Subject: Raymond Ansel DBA R&S Lifeline Domes LLC
My family and I are all educators. I designed a round tower for my
Observatory Dome. I always loved round buildings. For years we have
dreamed of building a round home, but it wasn't until I met Raymond Ansel
that I knew I could trust someone to fulfill our dream. I've known Raymond
for five years and he has kept us up-to-date on his various projects.
Raymond is an honorable man with a strong work ethic and a creative
mind. We believe there is no problem he cannot solve. We are impressed
by his big projects, a Church, a Medical Clinic, and Homes. The small
transportable Monolithic Domes he has created, also inspire us. Our dome
project is complete, from grading plans to shotcrete, to interior design.
Raymond is very hands-on and organized. Those who work for him trust
him to keep the work flowing and trouble-free. Any questions that arise
are dealt with competently, with a smile. Mr. Ansel made sure our home
was engineered for burial to deal with earth and water barrier. He was right
on time and within our contract bid. We have lived in our underground
dome for six months. Raymond has followed through to make sure any
minor problems are fixed to our satisfaction. Now that our project is
complete, I have come to these conclusions: Ray Ansel was the man for
the job.
He worked with my specific hand-drawn plans. He designed a beautiful set
of arched forms for earth retention. He willingly looked at pictures of J.R.R.
Tolkien's "Bag End" in order to achieve the look we desired. Ray and I
were the architects. Our home is one of a kind and quite beautiful inside
and out. We all marvel at our good fortune to have found Raymond
Ansel. His hands-on experience took everything in stride. His courage
allowed us to go way outside the box to make a complex and beautiful
dream into reality!!!

In June of 2005, Ray Ansel and the crew from Lifeline Domes LLC,
performed several weeks of work on my house in Asheville, NC. They
cleaned and patched the exterior as necessary, they re coated and applied
weather proofing as appropriate, and they did a beautiful job stuccoing
some unfinished concrete.
The workers were skillful, polite, diligent, and cleaned up after themselves.
Not only will I use them again when I have additional work, but as a
designer of residences, I will be referring them to my clients for their new
construction. My experience with Ray to date has been unfailingly positive,
and I look forward to working with Lifeline Domes again.
